Twenty-five years of productions, sets, professional expertise and stories that have shaped the region: Film Commission Torino Piemonte has celebrated a milestone that is at once a reflection on the past and a look towards the future.
In 25 years, Film Commission Torino Piemonte has supported 300 feature films, 180 TV series, 250 short films, 500 documentaries, 20 animation projects, 50 TV programmes, 20 digital content projects, 60 music videos and 160 commercials, institutional spots and other audiovisual productions.
Film Commission Torino Piemonte, as part of the events celebrating its 25 years of activity, organised a celebration in the magnificent setting of the Museo Nazionale del Cinema at the Mole Antonelliana, bringing together most of the institutions and individuals who, from 2000 to the present day, have contributed in various ways to shaping the Foundation's journey. The event — hosted by Alessandria-born director Luca Ribuoli — featured the 4 presidents who have led the Foundation over the years, alongside talent and guests who marked each of their tenures.
Joining the Presidents to share their experiences in Piemonte and recall the films made with the Foundation's support were: Bille August, Davide Ferrario, Luciana Littizzetto, Ricky Tognazzi, Cinzia TH Torrini and Giuseppe Tornatore, who sent his greetings via video message.
An emotional evening of memories, tributes and anecdotes, the event opened a series of further celebrations planned for the months ahead.
The festivities will continue with a cycle of Open Days dedicated to citizens, students and film enthusiasts: 5 days (May 8–9, May 22–23 and June 13, 2026) during which the FCTP headquarters will be open to the public with special events and activities to tell the story of the Foundation and showcase the many professional figures in the sector, from casting to make-up, from set design to production.
