After making its successful debut, TFI Torino Film Industry will be holding its second edition once again in Turin: il Circolo dei Lettori will provide the same courtly setting to the event, which will again be held during the days of Torino Film Festival.

Open to national and international audiovisual operators and professionals, TFI Torino Film Industry is organized and coordinated by Film Commission Torino Piemonte, in cooperation with Torino Short Film Market, TorinoFilmLab and Torino Film Festival, and is promoted by Museo Nazionale del Cinema, by Direzione Generale Cinema, along with Regione Piemonte and Città di Torino, with the support of Compagnia di San Paolo.

The many new features of the 2019 edition include the accreditation campaign, which opened in September and spanned across international communities bringing in TorinoFilmlab's and Torino Short Film Market's European targets . Through its coordinated image, TFI aims at highlighting cooperation and unity among Turin's key players contributing to the initiative, by transfusing their respective expertise, communities and background.

TFI Torino Film Industry's rich schedule features a wide range of panels, focus sessions, key notes, workshops and pitch sessions showcasing the key players' variety and personality. A collaborative effort, strongly solicited by the key players in the local cinema network, actual evidence of both Piemonte film industry's strong identity and the region's artistic and industrial richness.

Torino Short Film Market will be presenting  90 projects from 42 countries and will celebrate Ireland as the Guest Country, with a large delegation including filmmakers, distributors and Irish institutional representatives. TorinoFilmLab will concurrently propose measures for Green Production best practices, organize talks on Audience Design and Virtual Reality, as well as a panel to introduce two case studies, both movies having been supported by TFL's Fund and representing highly successful international co-production instances.

Legal and administrative masterclasses will be coming up next and, during the last few days of the event, Film Commission Torino Piemonte will be going into depth with the topic of  international co-production, through a focus session attended by both producers and highest national institutions, presenting the main successful case studies, supported by European Funds .

The event will further host, for the first time, the annual edition of Italian Doc Screenings Academy, a training and networking project promoted by Doc.It. There will also be a space devoted to animation and TV series will be the focus of a panel featuring some of the key players in the national industry sector.
