The film crew was in Piedmont for 7 weeks of preparation and filmed for 3 weeks in July 2024, touching different areas of the city of Torino, mainly indoors. Among the locations chosen: the Condominio Monte Bianco in Via Servais, a private home in the foothills, the Pinna Pintor Clinic and the Ex Hotel “La Serra”. Some filming was also done in Ivrea.
Among the many Piedmontese professionals employed on the set between the technical cast and the artistic cast, we point out some department heads within the crew such as the general organizer Rossella Tarantino, the set designer Luisa Iemma, the group leader Elena Aime, the location manager Cristina Vecchio.
Among the Piedmontese actors in the cast are Tatiana Lepore, Jacopo Demetrio, Mia Massara and Artemisia Meinero Ferricelli.
1997 Linda is 8 years old, has few teeth, a very rich grandmother and a beautiful, dangerous and disruptive mother. It will be the meeting with two peers, the sisters Azzurra and Marta, that will teach her to become a child. In a bourgeois street where everything is there for all to see, between spying neighbors, mosquito bites and dog poop that hides secrets, a coming-of-age story in reverse about the right to remain small for as long as we are entitled to. A comedy with grazed knees and bruises on the heart.
- “Testa o Croce?” by Alessio Rigo de Righi and Matteo Zoppis, a feature film made with the support of Film Commission Torino Piemonte - Piemonte Film Tv Development Fund will be screened in Piazza Grande on Sunday 10 August as a preview for Switzerland and will compete for the audience award.

Piedmont will also be represented by “Il vangelo di Giuda”, the latest film by the Piedmontese director and current Director of the Torino Film Festival Giulio Base.
The film will be presented in the out-of-competition section, a non-competitive section that acts as a laboratory for contamination between all imaginable genres and different forms of narration. The section includes 14 films, including 12 world premieres and one international premiere.
We also point out, in the Histoire(s) du Cinéma section, the screening of Mario Bava's cult film “Reazione a catena”, which sees Torino-born Gianfranco Barberi among the screenwriters.
