At the end of the '50s many jazz musicians of color left the States and moved to Europe. So it was that arrived in Turin, precisely at the Swing Club, a jazz quarries located in the basement of a historic building in the center, currently shop "Buy Gold". Musicians of enormous artistic prestige they performed on its stage, in front of a diverse audience and curious, gradually more and more passionate. Their extravagant creative power contributed to the awakening of Turin, which in those years was more of a dormitory than a city. FIAT, its rhythms, "extinguished" in people that vitality which turned out later a powerful driving force. We know so who participated in the memorable evenings at the Swing, who played there, who fell in love, what happened in the lives of these men. We go behind the scenes to learn about anecdotes of a world where musicians like Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Venuti, Jean-Luc Ponty finished the concert, sat with the audience. But this is not because they were already of the Star, but because it was so to Swing. We know the historical, political and cultural context in which this "seed" music is firmly installed by creating fashions and ways of being, from clothing to language. A fresco of our unusual Italian way of being together, to create the group. People, atmosphere and "things out of the world" in a city of character prudent that he discovered his soul Jazz.
