Miguel is 16 years old. He comes from Lamon, a small village in the Alps.

One night, he steals his parents' car and, without a licence, drove to the highlands to chase a world of sheepskins, soil, stories on instagram and trap music. Miguel wants to be a nomadic shepherd. Scapeless and bold, he posts his life on social networks to stay in touch with his community of nomadic friends. Often considered an outsider, out of tme, he contends the territory with wolves, intrusive tourists and locals. In a transitory moment like the adolescence, Miguel returns to the place he leR only once a year, for a tradi, onal fes,val that to him is the most important event of his life, where he )sically meets with his nomadic friends.

The film is a portrait of Miguel, through which a world of contradictions is explored: tradition and contemporaneity, physical and virtual world, solitude and community.

A contemporary view of the Alps, a theater today of the complexity with which we interpret and relate to the landscape, especially in the time of climate change. These urbanized and dry mountains profoundly affect the lives of nomadic shepherds who must travel more miles in search of grass and water for their animals. Despite this, Miguel and the other young herders endure with hope. Connected through new technologies, they post their days on Instagram with pride and lightness. The shepherds we meet are not shepherds belonging to a nostalgic/bucolic imagination. They are young people in touch with each other thanks to social media, young people who have lived in the city, studied and who simply chose a job considered ancient.
