Bruno Segre has never surrendered. He has been a partisan, a journalist, a lawyer and a politician. The Fascists shot him and put him to prison back in 1944, but he is still alive. For 105 years has been embodying the values of anti-fascism and he represents one of the most important voices for the protection of freedom and democracy.
It has been a great honor to meet and tell the story of Mr. Bruno Segre. I took the decision to make a film about him after being very touched by a speech he gave in Turin for the celebration of April 25th, 2022. I immediately felt it was important to dedicate a film to his life.
