As part of the European project AVENUE CoVE – ERASMUS+, the Politecnico di Torino is organising the XR Game Jam, an initiative dedicated to the design and development of video games in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR).
The event — an in-person hackathon — will take place from 29 to 31 May and is open to students, trainers, and young professionals in the field.
Participants will have the opportunity to work in teams on the development of an innovative game project, engaging with immersive technologies and collaborative methodologies.
Participation is free and open to a maximum of 32–35 people.
Activities will begin each morning at 9:00 AM at Aula 8N of the Cittadella Politecnica (Via Boggio, Torino). At the end of the event, winning teams will receive a dedicated prize. For groups that do not have their own equipment, the Politecnico will provide VR headsets.
