Atacama Film s.r.l. is an audiovisual production and distribution company born in Turin (Italy) in 2004. Its first production is the documentary Investigation on a citizen called Volonté (broadcast by Sky Classics (Italy) in december 2004. Atacama Film aims working for the Italian and the international market. The company is composed by Alejandro de la Fuente and Biancamaria Polledro. Since more than fifteen years Alejandro de la Fuente is working in the international audiovisual sector in scriptwriting, production, distribution and consultancy. His co-script The Dragon was selected at the Berlin Film Festival 2001 for the European Pitch Point, his treatment Ice Cream an endless passion is a documentary produced by Stefilm International together with Arte (France); RTBF (Belgium); SBS TV (Australia); YLE Teema (Finland); NDR (Germany) AVRO (Netherlands) and TV Ontario (Canada). As script doctor he has worked for European Script Fund (UK); Europroducciones (Spain); Astrolabios (Spain) and Blackwood Films (Australia). He has co-produced the docu-fiction Pornodrome a living story broadcasted by Tele + (Italy) in 2002 and distributed by Sony Music (Italy). As Head of Acquisition he has worked for Canal + (Chile) and as European market consultant for Pearson Television International (UK).
