Founded in 2004, Graffiti produces award-winning films both for theatrical release and for the main public channels worlwide, selected at prestigious festivals.
Among its latest works, ‘Manodopera’ (‘No dogs or Italians allowed’) – winner of the EFA for Best European Animation 2022 and of the Jury Prize at Annecy and the Grand Prize at BIAF 2022, among others – is a puppet stop motion animated feature directed by Alain Ughetto with the original score composed by Nicola Piovani, co-produced with France, Switzerland, Belgium and Portugal.
Among Graffiti’s milestones, Giovanni Cioni’s ‘From the Planet of the Humans’ was awarded Best Feature Film of the International Competition at Festival dei Popoli 2021, after its world premiere at the 74th Locarno Film Festival ; ‘One More Jump’ by Emanuele Gerosa, recipient of the PRIX EUROPA for Best TV Documentary in 2020, premiered at Alice nella Città 2019 and was selected at Visions du Réel 2020 winning numerous international awards.

«Manodopera» (Interdit aux chiens et aux Italiens) (2022) di Alain Ughetto
Tra le ultime produzioni di Graffiti, questo lungometraggio d’animazione stop motion, con le musiche originali di Nicola Piovani e realizzato in coproduzione con Francia, Svizzera, Belgio e Portogallo, ha ottenuto numerosi premi tra cui l’EFA 2022 come Miglior Film d’Animazione Europeo, il Premio della Giuria e il Premio Fondazione Gan al Festival di Annecy 2022, il Grand Prize al BIAF 2022, il Premio Produttore dell’anno ai Cartoon Tributes 2023. Dopo essere stato presentato in anteprima internazionale al 75° Locarno Film Festival (Piazza Grande), il film ha aperto DOK Leipzig 2022 e chiuso il Torino Film Festival 2022. Selezionato in decine di festival in tutto il mondo, ‘Manodopera’ verrà distribuito nelle sale italiane da Lucky Red.
